Rivlin: 'After Schalit deal, Israel's eyes are on Pollard'

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin told US Ambassador Daniel Shapiro on Tuesday that in the wake of the Gilad Schalit deal, Israel expects Jonathan Pollard to return to his home as well.
"Pollard is an Israeli citizen, and in Israel his release is requested," Rivlin said.
Pollard, who has been serving a life sentence since 1987 on charges of spying for Israel, was granted Israeli citizenship in 1995.
