Saudi Arabia temporarily closed airspace to Israeli flights - report

Saudi Arabia temporarily closed its airspace to Israeli flights on Tuesday, with an Israir flight from Ben-Gurion Airport to Dubai delayed for five hours on Tuesday morning, according to Maariv.
The Israir flight was eventually allowed to take off. Another flight, on El Al, was allowed to fly to the UAE over Saudi airspace without a problem. The Israir flight was delayed due to a delay in receiving the necessary permits from Saudi Arabia.
The airline said it did not know why the permits were delayed.
