Saudi police arrest reformist writer

A Saudi magazine says police arrested its editor few days after he warned of a power struggle within the royal family because of the king and crown prince's poor health.
Umma Conference magazine said in a statement posted on its website Tuesday that police arrested Mohammed Al-Abdul Karim at his home and tood him to Hayer prison outside the capital Riyadh.No charges have been filed against Al-Abdul Karim, who is also a university lecturer, since Sunday's arrest, the statement added.
In an article last week Al-Abdul Karim predicted the King Abdullah's death might even cause the oil-rich kingdom to fall apart.
