Singer Moshe Peretz under investigation for tax evasion

Tax authorities Wednesday announced that they have opened a tax evasion investigation into famous Mizrahi singer Moshe Peretz and his manager for their failure to pay taxes on millions of shekels in earnings.Peretz and his manager have admitted to investigators that they evaded taxes on the earnings.Peretz was released on a NIS 100,000 bail and was forced to surrender his passport. He cannot leave the country for the next 180 days.
