Krausswas hospitalized at the Ichilov Medical Centerless than two weeks ago and was diagnosed with swine flu. The hospitalannounced his passing later Sunday evening.
Krausswas born in Jerusalemin 1935. He began his musical career in the 1950s. In the late 1960s he was amember of iconic Israeli band Hahalonot Hagvohim (The High Windows) and the 'LoolClan.' In Hahalonot Hagvohim Krauss performed alongside his wife, Josie Katz.
Krausssuffered from ill health in recent years and his situation deteriorated rapidlyafter contracting the flu virus.
