A stabbing attack was attempted on Wednesday morning near Yitzhar Junction in the Shomron region, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported.
In a video of the incident, a man can be seen approaching another man with a knife drawn and attempting to stab him. The man who was approached, who Kan News reporter Carmel Dangor identified as Binyamin Cohen, can be seen dancing backwards to avoid being stabbed.
Cohen is then seen advancing on the attacker and kicking him, before turning and running from the man.

The attacker escaped and IDF soldiers are searching the area for him.
Last week, around 20 settlers from the settlement of Yitzhar reportedly went down to the nearby Palestinian village of Madama on Sunday afternoon to throw rocks at the houses, injuring 11-year-old Palestinian girl Hala Alkut, Israeli media reported.
According to Palestinian reports, the girl was evacuated in moderate condition to Rafidia Surgical Hospital in Nablus. Judea and Samaria district police have opened an investigation into the incident.
