Strike by Lufthansa Paris crew disrupts flights

BERLIN  — German airline Deutsche Lufthansa AG said a strike by its check-in crew at Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport has forced it to cancel another 60 flights to and from the French hub.
Spokesman Michael Lamberty said Tuesday the company is in a "constructive dialogue" with unions representing its ground crew in Paris, who number fewer than 100.
He said Lufthansa hopes to resolve the dispute as soon as possible, but cautioned it was not yet possible to be sure whether flights from and to Paris could resume in the coming days.
Lamberty declined to discuss the issues being addressed in the negotiations.
Lufthansa already canceled 26 flights to Charles to Gaulle on Monday and the same number of departures.
