Tel Aviv has country's most dangerous intersections

Traffic safety organization Or Yarok urged for more traffic calming measures in urban streets on Monday, as they released a report detailing the number of casualties at urban intersections.
An average of 50 people each year are killed in traffic accidents at urban intersections in Israel, though in recent years this number has fallen to approximately 35.
According to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Tel Aviv had the most fatalities at intersections in 2012 (statistics from January to November). In the city, eight people were killed and 1,100 were injured in traffic accidents at intersections.
In Jerusalem, two people were killed and 592 were injured in intersections.
Across the country, a total of 6,533 people were injured in accidents at intersection and 36 were killed.
