Thousands seen gathering in Tehran's Azadi Square

Thousands of protesters were seen gathering in central Tehran's Azadi Square Monday as part of planned protests in support of the popular Egyptian movement that overthrew Hosni Mubarak, The Washington Post reported.
The Iranian government has banned the protests and a heavy presence of security forces were seen in the demonstrations' planned locations.
