Tohar Butbul wins silver in Judo at European Championship

Israeli Judoka Tohar Butbul won a silver medal at the European Judo Championships in Portugal's capital of Lisbon on Saturday, defeating his Turkish opponent Bilal Chologlo in a 6:18-minute fight.
Butbul ended up losing to gold medal winner Akil Jakuba from Kosovo, while Israeli Judoka Sagi Muki, world champion in his weight category, won a bronze medal.  
Muki won two European Championships in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is also one of Israel's hopes for a medal in the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
Butbul won a bronze medal in Tel Aviv two months prior to today's silver medal performance. This is his first medal in a European Championship.
Chologlo, who Butbol lose to in the finals, won the 2019 Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi.
