The National Labor Court president asked the Histadrut Labor Federation and the Federation of Israeli Economic Organizations to present their agreement for the government's consideration, but they refused, saying it was not yet ready, a Treasury Spokesperson said Wednesday.The deal between the Histadrut and the Federation of Israeli Economic Organizations Chairman Shraga Brosh is at the center of negotiations over the fate of government contract workers.The announcement came as Treasury and Histadrut officials met to continue discussions on ending the general strike that began at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
