Treasury, prosecutor strike meeting ends with no results

Negotiations between Treasury and current striking state prosecutor representatives ended without any results Wednesday night.
Prior to the meeting which was mediated by Histadrut head Ofer Eini, State Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein said that if the strike will continue into Thursday, an appeal will not be filed in the corruption case of former MK Tzahi Hanegbi.
"Treasury representatives did not agree to change their known positions," the state prosecutors organization said. "They carried themselves in a derogatory manner during the meeting and the [Treasury salary supervisor Eilon Levin] supervisor stormed out of the room when the prosecutors presented their unchanged position."
