The Finance and Health Ministers agreed to improve and expand the treatment of people with eating disorders, the two ministries announced on Thursday. The plan will lead to a shorter wait for treatment in the community, a 70% increase in hospital staff who treat eating disorders and an increase in available beds.
The plan, which will cost NIS 30 million, also includes the renovation of the wards and treatment centers for the patients' benefit.
