Turkey's National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul sent a letter to Israel Aerospace Industries and Elbit warning the two companies that they must supply Turkey with ten unmanned aerial vehicles within 50 days, Israel Radio reported Saturday evening.
The letter warned the two companies that if the UAVs were not supplied on time, a contract for their purchase would be made null and void.
Turkish officials denied there was any connection between the delay in shipping the UAVs and the strained relations between Israel and Turkey.
