UK unaware of bin Laden link to nuclear plan arrests

LONDON - British police said they were unaware of any link between the arrest of five men under counter-terrorism laws near an English nuclear reprocessing plant and the death al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
"At this stage we are not aware of any connection to recent events in Pakistan," Cumbria police said in a statement.
Police said the men were arrested on Monday close to the Sellafield nuclear reprocessing plant in northwest England after officers conducted a stop check on a vehicle.
