UK's Hague calls for restraint after 'Nakba Day' deaths

Responding to "Nakba Day" protests that included the breach of Israel's border and left several dead, UK Foreign Secretary William Hague on Sunday said: “I am deeply concerned by the violence on Israel’s borders today and saddened by the loss of life. I call on all parties to exercise restraint and ensure that civilian life is protected."
Hague added, "These developments make clearer than ever that a lasting and comprehensive resolution to the conflicts in the region is urgently needed and will only be achieved through negotiation.''
