The US CDC on Friday reported that the country had diagnosed 799 new COVID-19 deaths and 59,260 new coronavirus cases in the 24 hours since their report on Thursday. The new addition brings the total number of US coronavirus deaths to 132,056 and the total number of confirmed cases to 3,106,855 since the pandemic began.
