Uzi Landau quits KKL post

Former minister Uzi Landau resigned from his job as co-chairman of the Keren Kayemet leIsrael Monday, citing improper leadership by the organization's chairman, former MK Danny Atar.
In his resignation letter, Landau wrote that he came to the organization in order to advance its vision, help develop the periphery, and advance relations with the Diaspora, but he realized he could not accomplish those goals under Atar's leadership.
He singled out Arar's handling of the organization's finances and changes he was making at its helm.
"After months of working with you I came to the conclusion that I cannot put my trust in you to lead the KKL to implement its vision and its goals," Landau wrote. "Your administration violates the principles of transparency and proper governance."
