Vanunu indicted for TV interview

Mordechai Vanunu, the former nuclear technician at Dimona who served an 18-year prison sentence for revealing information about Israel’s atomic program in 1986, was indicted on Sunday for violating the terms of his parole.
The indictment, filed in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court, alleged that he violated the terms of his release during a September interview with Channel 2 News. It also claimed violations regarding meetings he held and moving his residence without notifying the authorities.
