Once again, Palestinians, as well as Israeli and foreign left-wing activists, held violent anti-security fence demonstrations west of Ramallah on Friday afternoon. In the village of Na'alin, some 150 protesters hurled rocks at security forces, who responded using crowd dispersal tactics. A protester was moderately wounded in the clashes and was evacuated to a Ramallah hospital. The army said he was one of the instigators of the riot. Eighty people took part in a similar protest in Bil'in.
