White House expects Abbas condemnation of American's murder

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration expects Palestinian leadership to condemn "any act of terrorism" against innocent civilians, including the stabbing attack that took the life of Taylor Force, a US citizen, on Tuesday.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said on Wednesday that violence against innocent civilians should always be condemned, and never justified, repeating his comments yesterday in a briefing with reporters. He said at the time of that midday briefing, he was unaware that an American was amongst the victims, and said the White House was praying with Force's family.
US Vice President Joe Biden, who was in Israel during the renewed spate of attacks across the state, is almost certain to raise the issue with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in their upcoming meeting, Earnest said.
