Ya'alon: We are not scaling back our operations in the West Bank

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon stated on Tuesday, "We our not scaling back our operations in the West Bank," in response to speculations that the IDF was winding down it's Operation Brother's Keeper.

Answering questions while visiting military bases in the Galil and Har Dov, Ya'alon said that, "

We are continuing our efforts, intelligence gathering and ground operations, to free the hostages and lay hands on the kidnappers. That has not changed.

Ya'alon clarified that the apprent deescalation from the arrests of hundreds of Hamas operators nightly to much smaller numbers of arrests in recent days was reasonable. "Operations against Hamas began with the arrests of dozens of Hamas members and the closings of Hamas infrastructure and assets, and as time has gone by we are now down a dozens and in the last few nights, individual arrests.
