Yigal Palmor named Jewish Agency spokesman

Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor is slated to take over as spokesman for the Jewish Agency beginning in November. A graduate of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Palmor served in a number of roles in the ministry, including public relations stints in Madrid and Paris, as head of the Maghreb, Syria and Lebanon Desk and as a delegate to the Madrid Peace Conference. He is fluent in English, French, Hebrew and Spanish. He fills a vacancy created when his predecessor Ofer Leffler left the agency over a year ago.
