Adafresh ups tomato sales to M&S

The company said the coming season also would see increases in exports to France and Russia to around 1,800 tons, while it recently concluded a deal to export 100 tons per week of peppers to a German food chain.

Kfar Truman-based agricultural produce company Adafresh said Monday it has extended its contract with Marks & Spencer to export 200 tons of tomatoes per season to the UK retail chain. The deal will bring Adafresh sales of the vegetable in England to 400,000 Euro. Adafresh also will expand the basket of products it supplies to Marks & Spencer.
