Israel, India seek to 'grow' trade

Israel and India will be seeking to expand trade between the two nations in the field of agriculture technology when Israel hosts Sunil B. Mittal, the president of the Indian technology company Bharti, next week. Mittal will be here as a guest of the Israel Export Institute and over the course of his visit will meet with various Israeli export officials and manufacturers of agricultural equipment with the intention of purchasing products for use in India. Yechiel Assia, chairman of the Export Institute, expects Mittal's visit to result in the purchase of approximately $30-50 million worth of Israeli equipment by the Indian government.
