Palestinians, IDF, settlers clash across W. Bank

Security forces fire tear gas, rounds in response to clashes that leave 4 settlers detained, border policeman injured from rock throwing.

The IDF wounded five Palestinians when they shot .22 caliber bullets during clashes outside Beit El on Friday.
The Palestinians had been throwing stones at homes in Beit El, according to the IDF. It was one of a number of clashes that broke out across the West Bank on Friday that involved, Palestinians, the IDF, Border Police and settlers.
The IDF caught two settlers trying to light a field on fire in the area of Hawara, and turned them over to the Border Police, near Nablus, according to the IDF.
At the site of the former outpost on the outskirts of the Yitzhar settlement, settlers attacked the Border Police and threw rocks at them. Two settlers were detained.
Palestinians arrived at the scene and as of Friday evening were clashing with security forces and settlers, according to the IDF.
Near the Amona outpost, Palestinians lit a field on fire and then clashed with the settler security team from Ofra who responded to the incident. A member of the settler security fired into the air.
Border police who responded to the incident have since detained two members of the Ofra security team. A border police officer was lightly injured from a rock, according to the IDF.
Separately, clashes broke out between Palestinians and security forces in the Palestinian villages of Kaddum, El-Arub, El-Khader and Beit Omar, according to the IDF.
