This morning, in Sderot, the DIGIPACK digital printing factory reopened, just 12 days after the deadly attack on the cities and kibbutzim of the Western Negev including Sderot.

DIGIPACK is a private digital printing factory that produces various flexible packaging for well-known local food manufacturers such as Osem, Elite, Yehiam and more, as well as for export. The factory, based on Israeli HP Indigo digital printing technology, provides employment  for around 30 families from the region and from kibbutzim that suffered significant losses.

The factory's CEO Yiftach Stern, who lives in Miflasim and has family members living in Kfar Aza and Be'eri, is determined not to let Hamas harm the livelihood of his employees. Stern emphasized, "It's of great importance for small businesses to be able to 'get back on their feet' and continue to meet their commitments to their clients, especially in our case with large food corporations in Israel that also export overseas. This is the only way we can continue to drive the economy. Each of us is a link in the local economic chain and to some extent, in the global economy. We cannot let Hamas destroy that."

Noam Zilberstein, CEO of HP Indigo & Scitex, stated, "Now is the time to strengthen the businesses that have been impacted by the recent outbreak of war and demonstrate economic resilience. At HP Indigo, we support our clients in every possible way and are pleased with the reopening of the Digipack factory in Sderot. Our factory in Kiryat Gat also continues to operate at full capacity, ensuring we can meet our clients' product requirements".
