Freed hostage Rom Braslavski thanked the IDF for "killing the man who did him the most harm," after the military confirmed to him that they killed the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who held him captive in Gaza, in a video shared by Braslavski on Tuesday.

Braslavski posted the news on Instagram, sharing the abuse he endured by the killed terrorist and writing, "Now I can say 100% that I won."

The IDF confirmed that the terrorist, whose name was Talal Jaber Mohammad Abd al-Aal, was killed on Sunday in a precision strike in Gaza.

The military also said that Abd al-Aal commanded a terrorist cell that infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the October 7 Massacre, while he also held several Israeli hostages during the last war.

"This is the man who, on his orders and with his own hands, abused me and almost killed me several times. This is him. Remember when you told me to deliver a message to the Shin Bet? That you gave them a third finger and that you weren't afraid of them? The message was delivered. Enjoy your time in hell, you son of a b****," Braslavski wrote.

In the video shared by Braslavski, which was taken the moment he received the call from the IDF to confirm the terrorist's death, he is seen getting emotional, crying, and having to stop his car in order to thank the official who broke the news to him.

IDF kills Nukhba platoon commander who infiltrated Israel on October 7

Later on Tuesday, the military said that it had killed Ali Qaid Mohammed Stitan, a Nukhba platoon commander in the PIJ, during a strike on Monday.

The military said that Ali Qaid infiltrated Israel during the October 7 attacks, while he also attempted terror attacks against IDF troops stationed in Gaza in recent days.

"Ali Qaid posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip and was eliminated in a precise aerial strike," the military added.
