President calls on all IDF commanders to stop expressing opinions, show restraint for "sake of Israel and the IDF."

President Shimon Peres on Thursday said the media storm must end immediately surrounding the land affair relating to Maj.-Gen. "It is especially important now, with everything around us burning, we must come to our senses," the president continued.Peres was visiting Israel Police's elite Counter-Terrorism Unit and explained that the unit was "the best in the world."During the visit, fighters from the unit told the president that they would "not hesitate to risk our lives for the freedom of [abducted IDF soldier Gilad] Schalit]."
