Israeli expert says the hit on Jaguar Land Rover was “no ordinary cyberattack,” with lessons for supply chains and factory floors worldwide

The announcement followed a Thursday report of an attempted hack into the hospital’s servers during Yom Kippur that had been blocked, raising fears of broader damage.

The hospital’s operations continued as normal, but experts are examining whether or not sensitive data may have been leaked. 

Governments and companies have been the targets of cyberattacks in recent months, including luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover, which had to pause production as a result.

Europe’s busiest airports, including Heathrow and Berlin, faced delays and cancellations after a cyberattack on Collins Aerospace disrupted check-in systems. Recovery efforts are underway.

Communication errors also grounded thousands of flights at the two airports in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area.

An Israeli AI firm uncovered an Iranian cyberattack that infiltrated diplomatic talks in Cairo, targeting officials from Egypt, the US and Qatar.

The directorate urged citizens to avoid clicking on unfamiliar links, sharing personal information with unverified sources, and to rely only on recognized organizations for psychological assistance.
