The source further told KAN that the Israeli leader is reportedly awaiting his meeting with Trump, and that "the situation regarding the Gaza Strip is not at all clear."

Discussions were still in the early stages regarding the meeting's details, with Germany being among the locations considered for the summit.

Trump said he "ended the war in Gaza, and secured the release of hostages, both living and dead." However, he did not mention the last hostage remaining in Gaza, Ran Gvili. 

The operation was conducted by the 143rd Gaza Division of the Golani Brigade, which located weapons and surveillance equipment, including AK-47 rifles, RPG rockets, and cameras used by Hamas.

In a televised address, Hayya, who is also the exiled Gaza Hamas chief, confirmed the killing of the group's senior commander in an Israeli strike a day earlier.

Sources within the Military Intelligence Directorate said the IDF strike on Sa'ad came in response to an attack on IDF reservists in the southern Strip, which wounded two.
