The IDF conducted an airstrike in Jouaiyya, southern Lebanon, killing a Hezbollah terrorist from the group's 127th Aerial Unit, IDF Arabic spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee confirmed on Wednesday.

The terrorist was taking part in re-establishing the terror group's infrastructure in the region.

This constitutes the second terrorist from the aerial unit to be killed by the IDF in the past two days, the military noted.

An earlier IDF statement commented that the strike was conducted "in response to Hezbollah's continued violations of the ceasefire understandings.

Lebanon's Health Ministry corroborated the strike, saying that the IDF conducted a "raid" which hit a vehicle, killing one, and injuring another, Lebanon's official news agency NNA reported.

IDF, Shin Bet kill Hamas terrorist after operatives shoot at soldiers in northern Gaza Strip

The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) struck a "senior Hamas terrorist" who was planning terror attacks against IDF soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip, the military confirmed on Wednesday.

He was killed after terrorists fired at IDF soldiers who were operating in the area, in an incident the military called "a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement."

In a separate statement, the IDF confirmed that a terorirst throw Molotov cocktails at soldiers from the Samaria Regional Brigade conducting an operation in the northern West Bank.

The soldiers returned fire, confirming that the terrorist was hit.

No soldiers suffered casualties, the military noted.

IDF strikes Hezbollah, Hamas infrastructure north of Litani River

After warning of imminent attacks on Hezbollah infrastructure on Monday, the IDF began striking Hezbollah and Hamas terror targets in Lebanon, the military said.

The IDF said the strikes, which were carried out north of the Litani River, stopped attempts to rebuild terrorist infrastructure in the area.

The attack comprised four strikes, and two subterranean Hezbollah structures were among the infrastructure targeted, the military added.

Sa'ar meets UN coordinator for Lebanon, discusses disarmament

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar met with the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis in Jerusalem on Sunday to discuss regional security and the future of Lebanon, the minister confirmed on social media.

“I reiterated the importance of Hezbollah’s disarmament for both Israel’s security and Lebanon’s future,” Sa'ar wrote on X/Twitter.

“Efforts have been made in this regard by the Lebanese government and the Lebanese Armed Forces, but they are far from sufficient, among other things, in light of Hezbollah’s efforts to rearm and rebuild, with Iranian support.”
