Egypt has balanced Israel, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority in playing a responsible role, attempting to broker numerous truces and ceasefires.
PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said that his government was “prepared for all scenarios in case Israel deducts money from the tax and tariff duties.”
The Jerusalem Post obtained full copies of the letters sent from the White House.
Hamdallah: “I urge everyone without exception to embrace the leadership, reconciliation and national unity and to put our national interest above factional and party considerations and interests.”

Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah made his stance on the emerging reconciliation very clear, calling on all Palestinian people to support Palestinian leadership.
Hamdallah’s appeal to Hamas, which controls Gaza, comes as Hamas and the Fatah-dominated PA are at loggerheads.
