IDF, Israel Police, and Border Police were sent to Khirbet al-Nawaj‘a after reports of deliberate burnings of Palestinian property, according to an IDF statement.

The service, which is set to begin in Efrat on February 27, comes in addition to the current US consular services offered at its Embassy in Jerusalem and at a Tel Aviv branch office.

The Arizona House approved resolutions rejecting the term "West Bank" in official state business, instead recognizing Israel's historical and legal sovereignty.

The suspect turned himself in hours after the incident, where he fled the scene and was promptly pursued by IDF soldiers. No injuries were reported.

"Changes are wide-ranging, reclassifying Palestinian land as so-called Israeli ‘state land’, accelerating illegal settlement activity, and further Israeli administration," said the statement.

The driver of the truck attempted to flee the scene of the incident, police said, but was pursued by backup police forces and arrested along with a passenger in the truck.

According to the Heritage Minister’s office, the flag was hoisted on the mountain peak in a symbolic act that the ministry said reflects a renewed emphasis on Israel’s spiritual heritage.
