Two-hundred haredim gathered around a building in Beit Shemesh on Thursday morning, in which a 10-year-old passed away. The protesters were trying to prevent police from removing the body and taking it to a hospital for an autopsy.
A minor skirmish broke out between the haredim and the police, wounding a police officer who attempted to defend himself with pepper spray.
Additional police forces were dispatched to the scene.
