The Jewish terror suspect who remained in custody Thursday after four others were released was being held due to suspicions that he was involved in "highly dangerous" crimes, according to a police statement.

"In the case of this suspect, the suspicions against him are of the highest degree, and the crimes of which he is accused comprise a clear reason for his arrest," the statement said.
