Druze community leaders: 'We will examine Netanyahu's offer'

Leaders of the Druze community announced Wednesday that they would study a conciliatory proposal by Prime Minister Netanyahu to end the ongoing standoff over the newly-passed Nation-State Law.
The proposal would recognize contributions by the Druze community, as well as other non-Jews who serve in the IDF. If accepted, the proposal will discussed in the Knesset during the upcoming winter session.
Minister of Communications Ayoub Kara, who is himself Druze, said that he is "moved by the warmth shown to the Druze community" and stated that the problems presented by the Nation-State Law will be solved by further legislation.
