Spillover from Syria strikes Golan for second day in a row

Several projectiles fired from Syria landed in open territory in Israel's Golan Heights on Sunday afternoon, the IDF confirmed.No injuries were reported in the incident.The military added that the errant projectiles were the result of the internal fighting in Syria. This is the second day in a row that the Israeli-Syrian border is effected by a spillover of the ongoing conflict in Syria. On Saturday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will not tolerate any violation of its security on any front. This was said shortly after the IDF retaliated against Syria for the firing of 10 projectiles onto the Golan Heights. “We are not willing to accept any ‘drizzle’ [of fire] or ‘spillover’ on any front."
