Eurovision worker hurt during equipment unloading

A worker on the site of the Eurovision at the Expo Tel Aviv was hurt Monday morning in an unloading accident.
According to the police, the worker was hurt during the unloading of equipment in the parking lot of the convention center. Police said he was injured when one of the lighting carts fell on him while unloading a truck. According to police, the laborer, a 66-year-old man from Pardes Hanna, was treated on the scene by MDA and transferred in serious condition to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
A spokesman for the hospital said Monday that, after a series of tests, the patient was brought into urgent neurological surgery.
The first full dress rehearsal for the Eurovision is slated for Monday evening at 10pm, and the first live semi-final is scheduled for Tuesday night.
