For the first time: Suspicious balloon found in a Jerusalem neighborhood

Police units in Jerusalem's southern neighborhood of Gilo responded to a balloon that landed in a garden area, the police foreign press spokesperson reported Friday around noon.

Bomb disposal exports arrived at the scene and are keeping the area safe. The ballon and object attached to it were dealt with to prevent any danger.

Police call upon the public to notify police immediately of any suspicious objects spotted and stay at least 50m away to ensure safety.
