Gantz meets Dempsey at the Kirya Military Headquarters

Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff on Friday morning met with IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz. at the Kirya Military Headquarters in Tel Aviv.Former OC Manpower Maj.-Gen. (res.) Gideon Shefer on Friday morning said that Dempsey was probably here to "stop" Israel from attacking Iran.Dempsey will later meet with Defense Minister Ehud Barak, after which he will travel to Jerusalem where he will meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres.
