Germany freezes Libyan government bank accounts

BERLIN - The German economy ministry said on Thursday it had frozen bank accounts in the country held by the Libyan central bank and the Libyan Investment Authority.

The ministry said in a statement that the move also covered the Libya Africa Investment Portfolio and the Libyan Foreign Bank.
