Gov't approves plan to establish Tel Aviv-Eilat railway

The government unanimously approved the project to establish a railway line from Tel Aviv to Eilat at the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday.
The 350-kilometer long railway was expected to take five years to complete. It will carry both cargo and passengers. The trip from Tel Aviv to Eilat is expected to take approximately two hours on the train.
