The government on Sunday authorized the establishment of a community for those evacuated from Kfar Darom during the Gaza Disengagement. The new community is to be near Nir Akiva, in the western Negev. The residents will move to their new homes from apartments in Ashkelon, spending time in temporary housing until their permanent residences are constructed.
