Greenberg to head US Jewish umbrella group for second term

Stephen M. Greenberg has been reelected for a second term as chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Organizations. The one-year-term will begin on June 1. The American Jewish umbrella organization made the decision on Thursday and announced it over the weekend.
Greenberg, an attorney specializing in high-level mediation, has a long history of Jewish communal involvement and has served in leadership roles in the Conference’s 54-member organizations.
“It is a privilege to serve a second term as chairman of the Presidents Conference,” he said. “The Conference’s watchwords, ‘strength through unity,’ were never more important given the many challenges facing us. In my second term as Chairman, I will continue to help our entire community achieve that important goal.”
