Hariri lands in Damascus

Lebanese Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri landed in Damascus on Saturday afternoon and began his first official visit to the Syrian capital. Hariri was received at the airport by Syrian President Bashar Assad, with whom the Lebanese premier's relations have been strained since the 2005 murder of his father, former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri, by suspects allegedly connected to the Syrian regime.
