Opposition leader Issac Herzog on Tuesday accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government of 'endangering the basic interests of Israel.' Speaking at the Sderot Conference, Herzog said that 'only a prime minister who lacks confidence needs a Jewish state bill to justify himself. The bill itself is a farce,' he said. He reiterated his calls for Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Finance Minister Yair Lapid to quit Netanyahu's coalition.
