Herzog: Right-wing elements 'over-active' in Jerusalem

After the US, UN, Arab League and Palestinian Authority slammed Israel for approving the construction of 1,600 new homes in east Jerusalem, Welfare and Social Services Minister Isaac Herzog on Thursday morning said that right-wing elements and city planning authorities are "over-active" in the capital, causing much damage.
It is important to be politically wise and sensitive, Herzog told Israel Radio, adding that it was inappropriate to announce the Ramat Shlomo building plan during US Vice President Joe Biden's visit in Israel.
