Hezbollah delegation visits Moscow, meets lawmakers

A delegation of Hezbollah officials met with Russian lawmakers in Moscow on Wednesday as part of the party’s first official visit to the country, Beirut based The Daily Star reported.

MP Muhammad Raad of the Hezbollah-led Loyalty to the Resistance bloc told apparently told reporters that the visit reflected the party’s will to promote cooperation with Russia on issues of mutual concern.

The Russian parliamentary committee for relations with Middle Eastern parliaments invited the delegation, Raad said, according to the paper.
