According to an IDF spokesperson today, "a series of working meetings of a delegation of senior officers from the Russian army in the IDF ended.

"The meetings were led by the head of the Operations Division, Brig. Gen. Yaniv Asor, in which senior working groups of the two armies convened for a joint discussion."The meetings were conducted in a good and professional atmosphere, and included promoting and improving the mechanism for preventing friction between the two armies in the northern arena and the IDF's actions against Iranian consolidation and the arming of Hezbollah in Syria.

"The delegations reached understandings and agreed to continue joint work," the IDF concluded in their statement.
